Still Life

November 2016

Motivated by Silence - A Dialogue of Space.

William James asked the question, 'how can the room I am sitting in be simultaneously out there and, as it were inside my head, my expereince?'

Inside/outside plays a large role in these works on many levels.  The architectural remnants (some intertexual) co-exist in the silent landscape.  What was silent is expressed.  Simultaneity of time and space is preserved, ornamental, fragmented and in decay.
